Terms of Service

These Terms explain the rules for using Captro. By creating an account or using Captro, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Community Guidelines, and the Safety & Reporting rules.

1. Eligibility

Captro is for people age 16 and older. Do not use Captro if you are under 16.

2. Your account

  • Use accurate account information.
  • Keep your login credentials secure.
  • Do not impersonate another person, business, or organization.
  • Do not try to access another person’s account without permission.

3. What you can do on Captro

Captro lets users share photo posts, stories, comments, saves, messages, and profile content, and to interact through likes, follows, reports, and blocks where available.

4. What is not allowed

  • Harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or praise for violence.
  • Sexual exploitation, sexual solicitation, or content that endangers minors.
  • Doxxing, private personal information, impersonation, scams, spam, or fraud.
  • Attempts to bypass moderation, security, rate limits, privacy settings, or backend protections.
  • Uploading content you do not have rights to use.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create, but you give Captro permission to host, store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the app, enforce policies, and deliver the service.

6. Moderation and enforcement

Captro may review reports, limit content visibility, remove content, restrict accounts, suspend accounts, ban accounts, or take other moderation actions when content or behavior appears to violate policy or law.

7. Account deletion

You may request account deletion inside the app where available. Captro may first place the account into a deletion-pending state, log out sessions, hide the account from public areas, and permanently delete or anonymize eligible data after the scheduled deletion period.

8. Availability and changes

Captro may change, improve, limit, or remove features at any time. We try to keep the app available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
